Canada Diving Destinations

Newfoundland is Canada’s best known diving destination. In these cold waters you can explore shipwrecks and icebergs, dive with whales, or explore scenic Gros Morne Park, a Viking village, or a whale graveyard.

The best time to encounter icebergs is May and June, or come in July and August to snorkel or dive with several species of whales that come in to eat and breed during that time of year.

Combine your trip with a stop in Nova Scotia, a province on Canada's mainland. Nova Scotia highlights include the Bay of Fundy (highest tides in the world) and the Cape Breton trail.
